These Terms of Service govern your use of dupuypainting.com and any enquiry you send through it. By using this website, you agree to these terms.

About us

This website is operated by Dupuy Painting, a painting and home improvement contractor serving Orlando and the surrounding cities in Florida.

Use of this website

You may use this site to learn about our services and to contact us about work you would like done. You agree not to use the site to send unlawful, abusive or misleading content, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems, or to interfere with its normal operation.

Estimates are not contracts

Prices, timelines and descriptions of work shown on this website are general information only. Nothing on this site is a binding offer or a quote for your specific property.

A price becomes a quote only when we provide it to you in writing after seeing the property, and it becomes a contract only when both parties agree to it. Written quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote.

Changes to the scope of work

Conditions that are not visible during an estimate — for example water damage behind a wall, failing substrate under stucco or tile, rot beneath siding, or previously applied coatings that must be removed — may change the work required. Where that happens, we will tell you before continuing and agree any change in price with you in writing.

Materials and colour

Paint colours shown on screens, printed swatches and sample chips will not exactly match the finished result on your surfaces. Lighting, surface texture, sheen and the number of coats all affect the final appearance. We recommend approving colours from a physical sample applied to your own wall, which we provide as part of our estimate process.

Scheduling and weather

Exterior work in Central Florida depends on weather. Rain, humidity and temperature can delay work or make it unsafe or unsound to apply coatings. We will keep you informed and reschedule as promptly as conditions allow. Weather-related delays are not a breach of contract.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and the schedule for progress and final payments, are set out in the written quote or contract for your job. There is no charge for an estimate.

Workmanship

We stand behind our work. Any warranty on labour or materials for your job is stated in your written quote or contract. Manufacturer warranties on paint and materials are provided by the manufacturer, not by us.

Photographs of completed work

We may photograph completed work for our portfolio. We will not publish photographs that identify your address or the interior of your home without your permission. Tell us if you would prefer we do not photograph your project at all.

Intellectual property

The content, layout, logo and images on this website belong to Dupuy Painting or are licensed to us. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Dupuy Painting is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or from information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here limits our responsibilities under a signed contract for work performed at your property.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute relating to this website will be handled in the courts of Orange County, Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies.
